We're a Landcare group made up of locals who want to protect and improve Garden Island Creek.
Our mission is to protect, conserve and enhance our local environment for all future residents to enjoy.
Climate change, erosion, invasive species and more threaten our beautiful local habitats and these challenges are best met by strong community cooperation.
FOGIC (Friends of Garden Island Creek) invites all locals to bring energy and ideas to our group. Maybe you would like to participate in our working bees to remove weeds or plant trees; perhaps monitoring water quality or beach erosion is more your thing. You may have knowledge of local plants and wildlife to share, or just a willingness to lend a hand and learn.
